Chad Crooks

Chad grew up in central Louisiana with his parents and three brothers. When he was 8, he came to know Christ as a direct result of Vacation Bible School. After he graduated from Louisiana College, he moved to Ft. Worth to attend seminary. While in Ft. Worth, he met Shelley and they were married in 1992. God has blessed them with three children, Victoria, Ethan and Chloe.

Chad is the Worship Pastor at Frederick where he spends time planning the worship services, and providing leadership to the choir, worship band and praise team. He also leads out in the annual Living Christmas Tree. Among his favorite songs are “How Great Thou Art”, Chris Tomlin’s version of “Amazing Grace (My Chains are Gone)”, and “How Great Is Our God.”

In Chad’s spare time he enjoys doing projects around his house and doing yard work. As a sports fan, you will find lots of purple and yellow as he roots for the LSU Tigers. He also roots for the St. Louis Cardinals and the Dallas Cowboys.
