FBBC'S NEW LEAD PASTOR ANNOUNCEMENT

The Pastor Search Team is pleased to announce Paul Damery received a 94.5% affirmative vote at yesterday’s special business meeting, making him the new Lead Pastor of Frederick Boulevard Baptist Church, effective June 1, 2024. We are excited as our church enters this new season and we are looking forward to how the Lord will use Paul to shepherd FBBC. Please pray for Paul and his family as they make this transition. A welcome is planned for them. Talk to Breanna Mather or Jill Bratcher for details.

VALLEY COMMUNITY FOOD KITCHEN

We will be collecting cleaning supplies and paper products for the Valley Community Food Kitchen for the month of May. Save the insert from the bulletin, as a reminder of what is needed. There will be a collection box in the foyer during this time. Thank you for always being faithful in this ministry. 

SECOND HARVEST MINISTRY OPPORTUNITY

We partner with Second Harvest Mobile Food Pantry to distribute food to those in need from our church parking lot. We will serve Friday, May 17, 9 am to noon.

FAMILY COOKOUT & MEETING

Church family, you do not want to miss this! Sunday, June 2, at 5 pm we will be having a cookout. All we need you to bring is your appetite and chairs. We will have a train and games for all ages. Our quarterly family meeting will follow in the gym.

APPLES OF GOLD

Apples of Gold mentoring Bible study for women will meet for 8 weeks in June/July.  Details coming soon! ABIDE WOMEN’S MINISTRY

Join Abide Women's Ministry through the Lifeway study When You Pray. This 7-session study is written by 6 beloved Bible teachers who will each guide you through a prayer from the Bible that can inspire and transform your own prayer life.

Please purchase your own book and sign up for one of these two times to meet using by contact Jess Fjellman or the office. Both classes will take a break during VBS week (July 8-12)

Tuesday mornings in the Atrium, June 4th - July 30th, 9:30-11:30 with childcare - $30 for the family due by first meeting (scholarships available) 

Wednesday evenings in the Atrium, June 6th-July 31st, 6:00-8:00 no childcare.
