Since 1997, the Center for Biblical Counseling (CBC) has been helping men, women, and families meet the challenges of life in a way that will please and honor the Lord Jesus Christ. God’s Word is the authority for counseling at the CBC. The ministry is firmly committed to the belief that the Bible provides thorough guidance and instruction for faith and life. (2 Peter 1:3; 2 Timothy 3: 16-17) Walking in step with His Word allows us to fully enjoy Christ’s love and His plans for our lives. “First seek the counsel of the Lord.” (1 Kings 22:5) “In His Word I do hope.” (Psalm 130:5)​​
​​Vikki Crouch is the counselor for women and founded the Center for Biblical Counseling. She holds a M.A. in Biblical Counseling from Trinity Theological Seminary. Vikki is certified by the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC) and has been counseling since 1999. Remote tele-counseling appointments with Vikki are conducted from the privacy of your own home. This flexibility extends the reach of the ministry to serve beyond the local community.

Jeff Cox is one of the elders at Frederick Boulevard Baptist Church and oversees the counseling ministry. He is available to meet in person with men and couples. Jeff holds a M.T.S. degree in Pastoral Ministry, and an M.Div. in Biblical Counseling from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is in the process of completing ACBC certification and has previously served as pastor in several other churches prior to joining the elders at Frederick a few years ago.​​
​Biblical Counseling through the CBC is offered free of charge as a ministry of the church to both members and non-members alike. However, financial contributions to Frederick Boulevard are appreciated. Each session begins and ends in prayer. Homework assignments are given after each session for the express purpose of implementing the principles learned during the sessions. The truth is spoken in love and adherence to God’s Word is encouraged.
