Our desire is for kids to know Jesus and develop in their relationship with Him. We offer a variety of fun and engaging ministries for kids up to 6th grade to learn and grow in their faith. All of our children's ministry volunteers have been through a screening process and have taken child safety training.
sunday mornings
sunday school & nursery
9-10am
Nursery is available for children through age 3. Your children will be cared for by our loving volunteers in one of 3 connecting rooms, depending on age. Each room is equipped with age appropriate toys and furniture. The nursery is just south of the foyer and utilizes a secure check in system to keep your kids safe.

​For children ages 4 through 6th grade we offer age appropriate curriculum and classes for each age/grade.
children's church
(during the sermon)
A Children's Church option is available in room 101 (Noah's Ark room) for ages 4 through Kindergarten during the sermon portion of the Worship Service. These children will attend the adult Worship Service with their families and will be dismissed before the sermon.
Families may pick up their children in the Noah's Ark room at the end of the service. ​
wednesday evening awana
September through April
Awana is a bible-based evangelism and discipleship program for kids that actively involves parents, church leaders, and mentors. Our Awana club works with parents to develop spiritually strong children and youth who faithfully follow Jesus Christ.

The FBBC Awana Club currently meets on Wednesday evenings, September through April, from 6:30-8:00pm. We have clubs for grades K-6, limited spots for preschoolers (must be 3 by August 1), and small discipleship groups for Jr. High (Trek) and High School (Journey) students. vbs
one week (M-F) in June or July
At our summer VBS program, children from age 4 through 6th grade learn from the Bible, hear the gospel, and have tons of fun! Engaging Bible lessons, exciting songs, physical activities, themed crafts, and delicious snacks are some of the things kids experience at our 5-day VBS program.
children's camp
one week (M-F) in July
Children’s Camp is held at the beautiful Grand Oaks Camp, just outside of Chillicothe, Missouri. It is for children who have completed 4th-6th grades, and is sponsored by the Saint Joseph Baptist Association. This Monday through Friday camp is a chance for kids to escape the distractions of their everyday lives and to focus on their relationship with God.
